- June 19th 2009 - HEC Olympics. The culmination of the year's sports programme.
- May 15th 2009 - Visit to HEC by David Taylor, Somerset's Corporate Director, Children and Young People's Directorate.
- May 6th 2009 - Visit to HEC by representatives from DCSF, EO and Somerset's EHE team looking at models of good practice.
- April 29th 2009 - Follow-up visit to HEC from local colleges to discuss exam centres for external HE candidates.
- April 2009 - HEC production of an adaptation of 'Jungle Book' - Friday 3rd, 2pm & 6pm

- Feb 27th 2009 - Visit to HEC by the Tulsi Trust, Indian Hospital & school. Indian cooking, music, Sari tying & Henna painting.

- Oct 2008 - Visit from an Educational Ranger from Ham Hill, as part of our Iron Age project.
- Oct 2008 - Visit from PEN - Personalised Education Now - as part of their Learning exchange.
- Oct 2008 - Group visit to Maiden Castle for some 'historical fun'.
- Sept 2008 - HEC information stand and rolling-sub football match at Chard Twinning Weekend.
- Aug 2008 - Picnic at Charmouth beach.
- July 2008 - Planning meeting to achieve a basic outline for the coming year at HEC.
- July 2008 - Group visit to Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre and fossil foray along the beach.
- June 2008 - HEC production - various short plays writen and performed by the children.
- May 2008 - Guided woodland walk at Holyford Nature Reserve with the Education Ranger, plus making Wild garlic soup!
- May 2008 - Educational group visit to Powderham Castle.
